Don Plesser, owner of the PR Factory Store, has committed to ride the MS 150. This is a 150 mile bicycle ride over two days. The ride will take place September 6th & 7th, 2008 in west-central Missouri.


Don has been training for this event for over 2 years. Don has rode 800 miles so far in July alone! (It is only July 23rd! He plans to do 1000 miles in July.) That would be the same amount of miles it is from Kansas City to Indy and back to KC! It’s not uncommon for him to ride 85 miles on Saturday and 60 miles on Sunday (when we’re not at a race of course.) The by-product of all this exercise has been weight loss (he is down to 176 starting out at 221!) and an over-all improvement of health for him. At the age of 53, that is nothing to complain about.

We are asking all of our friends and acquaintances to pledge 2 cents a mile---that is a total of just $3.00. If you can do more, that would be better. Don wants to reach a goal of $4000.00 in sponsorships.

There are several ways to donate. We will collect money at the Indy AMA Dragbike race. We will collect at the Bristol AHDRA race. You may send a check. The check needs to be made out to the ‘National MS Society.’ On the memo line of the check, please write ‘Don Plesser.’ You can either send the check to us and we will forward it to the MS Society or you can send it directly to them.
