There is built-in shift light. Set up your shift rpm points with the Data Plus Software, and the bright LED's will light up at that rpm - letting you know it's time hit the next gear. You'll know what gear you're in with the 5 green LED's on top. And on top of all that you can adjust your two-step control from the Launch/Rev Limiter/Shift Light!
