Kenda C2C SKU:
David ‘Tinker’ Juarez began his career as a BMX racer in the 1970’s. He graduated to mountain bike racing in 1986 where he continues to compete to date. Always a favorite with the fans, Tinker is one of the sport’s most recognizable riders thanks to his signature dredlocks. Tinker is a member of the BMX Hall of Fame and The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame He is also a 2 time Olympian, a Pan American Games Gold Medalist and 4 time US 24 Hour Solo Champion. Recently, Tinker decided to try his hand at road racing, where he continued his winning ways by setting a new course record and placing 2nd in the 508 mile Furnace Creek road race, an event that qualified him to compete in this year’s 2006 RAAM Road Race raceacrossamerica.com at which he finished 3rd. It’s easy to see Tinker has done it all, and when it comes to designing race tires, who better than the guy that has more miles in his legs than you do on your past three cars! Tinker had a few tricks up his sleeve that he shared with the R&D guys at Kenda to make both the fastest and the lightest mountain and road tires around.
